2016 Silicon Valley Energy Summit Videos Available

Minerva Ventures was on the organizing committee of the Silicon Valley Energy Summit at Stanford University in June. The videos are now available from the event which included a lively debate on nuclear power featuring 2 Nobel Laureates. Marianna Grossman moderated a panel on Post Paris Climate Action which featured Jan Berman of Pacific Gas and Electric; Pat Burt, Mayor of Palo Alto and entrepreneur; Assemblymember Mike Gatto, Chair of the Utilities and Commerce Committee; and, Debbie Raphael, head of San Francisco's Department of the Environment. It was a lively and hopeful discussion about the role of the state, large and small companies and cities in implementing meaningful climate solutions.

Previous roles include Partner for Sustainability and Innovation at Minerva Consulting; and corporate roles in the automotive, computer and semiconductor industries. She serves on the Board of Transportation Choices for Sustainable Communities, the California Congress of the International Living Future Institute, the Sustainability Committee of the SF Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, the Climate Music Project and the advisory council for climate action for the City of Palo Alto. She earned an MBA from Yale University School of Management and a BA, cum laude, with distinction in Policy Studies from Dartmouth College.
