Local climate action has become an imperative, not a luxury. Every community is already contending with extreme weather, rising seas, wildfire, drought and other manifestations of climate disruption. Individually, many of us are experiencing climate anxiety.

Engaging in constructive collaborative action is an effective way to address both the impacts of climate change, and our personal sense of foreboding. Small groups working together can create an inspiring, regenerative future for our communities.

Minerva Ventures’ Climate Action Workshop supports new and established groups to engage in meaningful local action to address the climate emergency.

This workshop will help you and your group:

Experience a sense of purpose and hope in addressing the mounting crisis
Foster community resilience and connectedness
Create a compelling vision of a better future
Discover resources to support action
Identify and launch a project that will advance your community’s response
to climate impacts and provide a springboard for future action

Audience:
The workshop is for newly formed or established groups ready to act now to create a better future for themselves and their community:

Local climate or environmental groups
Faith-based groups
Civic groups
Local government commissions or committees
Corporate green teams

Format:
Interactive sessions can be in-person or online, with optional ongoing support as you work to implement your project.
